The Michigan State Spartans weren’t able to rebound from last week’s blowout loss at the hands of the Iowa Hawkeyes. They dropped their second straight contest this afternoon in embarrassing fashion, getting blanked by Indiana by a 24-0 final score.
It was also Michigan State’s first home shutout loss since 1985.

While the fans immediately started venting their frustration with their team, the Spartans weren’t able to escape the crosshairs of some notable media figures.
Dick Vitale described Michigan State’s path since an upset win over rival Michigan as a “nightmare”:
