Ok, I have to admit that this may be a bit of a stretch, but the timing is just too good to ignore it.
Following the Detroit Lions 20-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, former Lions head coach Jim Caldwell took to Twitter and made a comment that some believe was directed towards Matt Patricia.
“Great leadership requires a devotion to task, mission and ideology that can be understood by watching the man or woman in charge lead their life,” Caldwell tweeted.

Now, this could be pure coincidence or it could be a subtle jab at Patricia.
Until Caldwell tells us otherwise, we will assume it is the latter because that is much more fun!
