The Detroit Lions and their fans got quite the scare on Friday night against the Buffalo Bills when starting center Frank Ragnow was forced to leave with what looked to be a serious leg injury.

Ragnow had an MRI on Saturday and according to reports, he dodged a bullet and only suffered a minor ankle sprain.

Following Rapoport’s report, @jessdeede on Twitter (who happens to be a doctor) weighed in saying that Ragnow should be ready to roll by the time the Lions play the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 of the regular season.

Though nothing has been confirmed by the Lions, it sure sounds as if one of the Lions most important players on the offensive side of the ball will be ready to roll when it counts.
