The Detroit Lions are once again reeling as they head into the bye week on the heels of a 35-29 loss to the New Orleans Saints at Ford Field this past Sunday.
They initially jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead before quarterback Drew Brees put on an offensive clinic that Detroit’s defense was no match for.

In fact, playing the Lions was a godsend for Brees.
Prior to their Week 4 matchup against Detroit, Brees had only managed 2.7 yards of downfield length for his touchdown passes. This Sunday against the Lions? That number climbed immediately to 13.7:
The 41 year old Brees finished Sunday afternoon with 19 of 25 for 246 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Meanwhile, the Lions dropped to 1-3 on the campaign.
