Drummond Receives League Warning for Possible Flop

The NBA has issued a warning to Andre Drummond following a potential flop during the closing moments of the Detroit Pistons’ last second victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

The play in question occurred with 24 seconds remaining. Tied at 96, Pacers center Roy Hibbert received a post entry pass and turned to establish post position. Drummond appeared to square up Hibbert defensively, but then let his body give way the moment Hibbert began to operate with his back to the basket. An offensive foul was whistled on Hibbert.

The Pistons clinched victory on the following possession after Drummond tipped in an errant Brandon Jennings layup attempt with just 00.3 seconds remaining.

Drummond would likely face a fine for any further flopping transgressions.
