  1. so Travis is predicting the Lions to lose to Green Bay at Ford Field, but then beat them IN Green Bay? Somewhere the Lions haven’t won since 1991?

  2. Yeah. I am. All good things must come to an end, as will the bad. Remember that horrible streak IN Washington? Neither does anyone else.

  3. anyone who thinks the lions are going to win back to back games in chicago and green bay is higher than me.

  4. This season going to rely on Matthew Stafford, This Lions team has the best receivers in the NFL right now, The only problem is Stafford needs to throw to all of his receiver, Not only Calvin Johnson that’s why Calvin Johnson was hurt last season because Stafford through to him too much, Those teams know that That’s the reason why Stafford had 19 interceptions last season, he is not the only receiver on the roster.

  5. Matthew Stafford reminds me so much of Dan Marino, a lot of yards a lot of touchdowns a lot of turnover a lot of lost.

  6. I don’t see us losing to Atlanta. That game is going to be a pass happy game and there is going to be a lot of receiving yards on both sides but I see the Lions coming away with the W.

  7. Why does everyone think Chicago will be a win? The Packers appear to be less potent right now. I have Chicago edging Detroit out in first and the Lions in the wild card.

  8. The predictions seem to be based on Lions teams of the past to me. Apparently the talent that this team possesses seems to be unappreciated. The offense is highly explosive and will be one of the top scoring in the NFL, the defensive front 7 is fast and ferocious, and if they disrupt the QB enough the softness of the secondary may well become a strength. Pivotal games on the schedule are 2 against the Packers, and games against the Patriots and Falcons. We can’t just pick the supposed good teams to beat the Lions all the time, with that outlook yeah our team will never be shown as any good. My predictions are the Lions win the North with a record of 11-5, 12-4 at best and they secure a bye in the first round. Let’s face it this team isn’t the same old Lions and they will take that step at becoming one of the leagues elite, all these other predictions of 9-7 and Detroit continuing to lose to Green Bay are just crap. That’s why they play the games.

  9. Lions literally have the talent to beat everyone this year…. only time will tell if they do or not

  10. The year the patriots went undefeated they had the worst secondary in the league( ranked 32) anything is possible

  11. This team has the potential to beat any team in the league, as long as they play up to that potential. There isn’t a team on our schedule that we’re not capable of beating, not saying they’ll go 16-0 or anything but I do have high hopes for our Lions thus season. I think we’ll go 5-1 this season in the division, the only loss being at the hand of the Packers. Overall I have them going 10-6 at worst and 13-3 at best. Lets do this Detroit! GO LIONS!!

  12. The only way 11wins will happen: Less than 5 penalties per game, no injuries to key players, win the turnover battle, and the coaching staff has to be flawless with halftime adjustments. I have little faith in these stars lining up. 5-11 is more realistic, but I hope you’re right.
