DSN NBA Finals Predictions

It’s finally here. After sitting through two months of what most people called unbearable playoffs, we finally get the match-up we’ve been waiting for since last June. The rubber match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. The finals aren’t scheduled to tip-off until June 1st, but like any good sports media, we have to get our picks out there early so that we can boast when we’re right! Without further adieu, here are the DSN staff picks for how the finals will play out.

Mercy, Don went bold with his prediction. As for me, my original thought was Warriors in five, but then I remembered LeBron James took the Cavs to a game six by himself two years ago, which if nothing else, is certainly worth an extra game in the series. I thought the Warriors were the better team last year, and they added Kevin Durant. I think it’s just too much firepower for Cleveland this time around.

However, as LeBron is quick to tell you, he doesn’t care what anybody outside of Cleveland’s locker room thinks, nor should he.
