LIKE MIKE, JOURDAN SOARS LIKE JORDAN
This first entry comes courtesy of editor Don Drysdale, who takes us back to one of the more defensively-sound yet entertaining games in college football, let alone the Big Ten:
When thinking of my top moment of 2016, one stands alone. It came on Oct. 1 when Michigan hosted Wisconsin in a game the Wolverines dominated everywhere except for on the scoreboard. The play itself came on 4th-and-10 with 2:23 remaining in the fourth quarter with Michigan leading 14-7. Wisconsin quarterback Alex Hornibook heaved a desperation pass downfield, but Wolverines All-American cornerback Jourdan Lewis made a spectacular interception to end the game, keeping Michigan undefeated.
It ended up being the third turnover of the game for the Badgers and Michigan was able to run the clock out and pick up the huge win.
