The Detroit Pistons are mired in an early season funk that's seen them stumble to a 4-10 record and quickly lose ground in the Eastern Conference.
They need a jolt, and fast. To that end, the team has reportedly discussed bringing up forward Sekou Doumbouya from the Grand Rapids Drive.
Lost in today’s Casey interview: He said bringing first-round pick Sekou Doumbouya from GR to Detroit for tomorrow’s game has been talked about.

Doumbouya, Detroit's first round draft pick (15th overall) in 2019, is having an impressive season in the G-League. He's averaging 17.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in seven games while also shooting 39.6% from three-point range.
He could be an attractive option for the team, especially with Tony Snell on the mend with a hip injury.
