On Monday, Red Wings’ GM Ken Holland was asked about who would be the next Captain and though he was not ready to make an announcement now, it sure seems like just a matter of time before Larkin gets the honor.
Ken Holland says Dylan Larkin certainly is equipped to be the next Captain of the Red Wings, But he’s not prepared to make that announcement today.

Larkin recently sat down with Brad Galli of WXYZ and talked about the potential of being named the next Captain of the Detroit Red Wings.
“It would be a great honor, obviously it’s the team I grew up watching. It’d be pretty cool,” Larkin said.

Nation, is it a no-brainer that Larking get the nod as the Red Wings’ next Captain? If not, who should get the honor?
