Tonight’s Red Wings player to watch: Dylan Larkin
Larkin has been the best player on the Wings this season. He has been on the top line and been productive no matter who’s been his wingers. Tonight, he is set to play alongside Michael Rasmussen and David Perron on that first line for Detroit. In Larkin’s career, he has appeared in 540 games for the Red Wings, and he has scored 160 goals and tallied 231 assists, good for 391 points. So far this season, Larkin has scored a team-high 13 goals and he has 20 assists for a total of 33 points, which is good enough for the most points on the team.
Larkin will be on the first unit of the power play playing with Lucas Raymond, Filip Hronek, Rasmussen, and Perron. Larkin has scored five power-play goals and six assists for 11 points. Larkin has also scored a shorthanded goal this year as well. Against the Maple Leafs this season Larkin got one point in the lone matchup, with an assist on a Moritz Seider goal.
