Dylan Larkin speaks to media following false positive COVID-19 test [Video]

Dylan Larkin was mysteriously pulled from Tuesday night's game between the Detroit Red Wings and Dallas Stars and nobody really knew why until after the game when Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill revealed Larkin was in COVID protocol.

On Thursday, Larkin was already back with his teammates after it was revealed that he had a false positive test in Dallas.

Following Thursday's practice, Larkin spoke to the media about the frustrations of thinking he had COVID and what it would be like to miss 10 days. He added that he is very grateful to be able to play tonight against the Vegas Golden Knights.

“I'm here, I'm happy to be here,” Larkin said. “It's been tough, but it's part of the world right now and part of protocols.

“It has been challenging, mentally. I’ve been thinking about other people, thinking about the possibility of 10 days out. There’s been a lot going through my mind, but I’m just really happy to be playing tonight.”
