Everyone familiar with the history of the Detroit Lions is quite common with the phrase that we in the Motor City seem to utter on a regular basis annually: “Same Old Lions”.
And now, one brewing company is taking it a step further.
Eastern Market Brewing Co. has released a new brew called “Same Old Lager,” a crisp, 4.5% alcohol-by-volume lager that has one simple request: “Don’t set your expectations too high.”
“This classic American lager is exactly what you’d expect,” the beer description reads. “Light, crisp, and always leaves you wanting more. Just keep telling yourself ‘the Next Beer, will be The Beer.'”
Of course, “Same Old Lions” has never been more appropriate following this weekend’s lackluster shutout loss to Carolina.
