It has already started in Major League Baseball and it’s just a matter of time before the same thing happens with NFL football as it is being reported that NFL players with serious asthma concerns, including one ‘elite level’ guy, may opt-out of the 2020 season.
The report comes from Charles Robinson and though he noted that he has not heard of any final decisions yet, some players are seriously considering sitting the season out due to health concerns regarding COVID-19.
It will certainly be interesting to see which players end up opting out and how that impacts the team they are on.
