ESPN issues nonchalant refusal to Big 12’s cease and desist letter

The Big 12 has made the decision to send a cease and desist letter to ESPN in order to prevent the television network from communicating with league members regarding conference realignment.

And now ESPN has responded with what can essentially be boiled down to, “Yeah, no.” Sports Illustrated writer Ross Dellenger has posted ESPN’s full response to the Big 12’s cease and desist letter, in which the network states that “the accusations you have made are entirely without merit.. to be clear, ESPN has engaged in no wrongful conduct and, thus, there is nothing to ‘cease and desist.'”

We have a feeling that this feud is just getting started.
