On Monday night, a report surfaced that new Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa was charged with driving under the influence after he allegedly ran his car into a curb back in February of this year.

This is the second (known) drunk driving arrest for the 76-year-old Major League Baseball Hall of Famer as he was also arrested back in 2007.
Just moments ago, ESPN passed along part of La Russa’s arrest report and it is pretty comical.
“I had one glass of wine while at dinner with my friends.” Before searching his person and placing him in the rear of my patrol vehicle La Russa asked, “Do you see my ring?” I asked La Russa what he was talking about? La Russa stated, “I’m a hall of farmer baseball person.” While placing him in the rear of my patrol vehicle, La Russa stated, “I’m legit. I’m a hall of farmer brother. Your trying to embarrass me.” I advised La Russa that I will not embarrass him, and he would be treated with utmost respect.”
ESPN obtained the full arrest report for Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa's DUI charge.
"Do you see my ring?" La Russa said to the arresting officer. "I'm a Hall of Famer baseball person. I'm legit. I'm a Hall of Famer, brother."
