Heading into the 2022 season, there were plenty of people who believed the Detroit Lions would be one of the surprise teams in the NFL. After their 3-13-1 record in 2021, the thought was that the Lions could potentially triple their win total and even content for a wild-card playoff spot. After getting off to a 1-6 start to their season, just about everybody had the Lions as one of the bottom 2-3 teams in their NFL Power Rankings, which was understandable. Now the Lions have won two games in a row and they have started to climb in the power rankings. Other than in the ESPN NFL Power Rankings, that is.
Where do the Detroit Lions rank in ESPN's NFL Power Rankings?
ESPN has released their latest NFL Power Rankings following Week 10, and they decided to throw some shade at the Lions, despite their two wins in a row.
In their latest power rankings, ESPN has the 3-6 Lions at No. 29, which is four spots behind the 3-7 Chicago Bears. Yes, that is the same Bears team the Lions just defeated on Sunday.
Here is what Eric Woodyard has to say about the Lions through Week 10:
Not much has changed since the offseason. Goff is aware this is a huge year for his career, as he's trying to prove he's still a starter in the league in case the Lions decide to go in another direction come the offseason. Goff and the Lions' offense got off to a hot start, leading the league in points per game through the first four weeks, before going cold with five straight losses. But they have recently turned it around with back-to-back wins for the first time since Weeks 6-7 of the 2020 season. — Eric Woodyard

Folks, where do you believe the Lions should be ranked after picking up back-to-back wins?
