When all was said and done, the 2016 season did not end well for the Detroit Tigers. Despite multiple injuries to key players, they managed to stay in contention for a Wild Card spot right up until the final week of the season but came up short.
The Tigers may have failed to qualify for the playoffs, but there is no question that they had some exciting moments along the way, including 211 home runs, which was good for 8th in all of Major League Baseball.
