Ex-Detroit Lions guard Graham Glasgow calls out former regime

It wasn't exactly a secret that former Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia didn't exactly endear himself to his players when he arrived within the organization after taking over from Jim Caldwell, who was beloved by the team.

For former Lions guard Graham Glasgow, he explained that while he wanted to stay a member of the Lions, it was the regime that made things difficult for him.

“I would have loved to have stayed,” he said while appearing on the “Dungeon of Doom” podcast. “I was not particularly happy with how they went about things, the previous regime. I was pretty upset with them, which made me want to leave. But I have a lot of love for the area.”

Patricia and former GM Bob Quinn were both dismissed by the Lions during the 2020 season.

Of course, Glasgow is now a member of the Denver Broncos, and he'll be facing the Lions this Sunday in the Mile High City. After playing collegiately at Michigan, Glasgow was selected in the third round with the 95th overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Lions with whom he'd play the first four years of his NFL career.
