The former Detroit Lions quarterback is now in the spotlight.
Josh McCown, who came out of retirement at age 40 earlier this season to back up Carson Wentz in Philadelphia, is now under center for the Eagles in their wild-card matchup against the Seattle Seahawks following an injury to Wentz.

Wentz suffered a head injury late in the first quarter on a helmet-to-helmet hit from Seattle’s Jadeveon Clowney, and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
McCown signed a two-year deal with the Lions in 2006, but asked to be traded after one season. After the team drafted Drew Stanton in 2007, McCown and Mike Daniels were traded to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for a 2007 4th-round draft pick.
The veteran has also suited up for the Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and New York Jets.
