Former Detroit Lions cornerback Quandre Diggs has a long road of physical rehabilitation ahead of him after he suffered two gruesome injuries this afternoon against the Arizona Cardinals.
According to head coach Pete Carrol, Diggs suffered both a dislocated ankle and a fractured fibula. He was seen clearly in pain and in tears as he was being carted off the field.
Per Pete Carroll, Quandre Diggs suffered a broken fibula and a disclosed ankle. His ankle was put back in place. He’ll stay behind. Tyler Lockett asked Carroll for permission to stay with him and will do so. “He’ll be back,” Carroll said of Diggs’ recovering from the injury.
