Ex-Tiger Blaine Hardy signs with Minnesota Twins

Former Detroit Tigers pitcher Blaine Hardy has found a new home with a divisional rival: the Minnesota Twins.

Heโ€™s signed a minor league deal that includes a provision requiring the Twins to grant him his release or put him on the MLB roster within 48 hours.

Last year with the Tigers, he compiled a 1-1 record with a 4.47 ERA and a 1.150 WHIP in 39 appearances; his overall record was 14-10 with a 3.73 ERA and a 1.329 WHIP and a 2.25 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
