According to the Detroit Red Wings, they have traded the rights to forward Dmytro Timashov to the New York Islanders in exchange for future considerations.
Timashov, who is 24, was originally selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 5th round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
In 44 career NHL games, Timashov has 4 goals and 5 assists.
