There are few things worse than a proposal that’s rejected – but it can get worse, specifically when it happens in front of thousands of people, and then goes viral online.
A poor fan found this out the hard way as his proposed to his significant other during a Worcester Red Sox game:
“The woman was horrified after the proposal. She ran up the stairs. The gentleman ran after her with two of his buddies,” Steven Wooster, a fan in attendance, told the radio station 98.5 The Sports Hub. “I saw the whole thing. It was horrifying.”
