The Detroit Lions season is all but officially over after today’s 20-13 setback to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. Jeff Driskel stepped in for the injured Matthew Stafford, going 27/46 with a touchdown.
It was the first time since 2011 that Stafford wasn’t under center for Detroit, who lost for the fifth time in their past six. And following the setback, the fans and media weren’t kind.

Matt Patricia and Paul Pasqualoni are making Mitch Trubisky look like a good QB.
I’m absolutely sick.

In this Lions-Bears game, the leading rusher for either team is …. Jeff Driskel, with 37 yards. So there's that.

Does anyone remember when Caldwell, who brought us to the playoffs 2/4 years, was fired because he couldn't take us to the next level? …then BQ hired a defensive minded turd of coach who can't scheme a defense and everyone hates. Yeah, me too. @Lions #DetroitLions #Lions

No reason on earth for Matt Patricia to keep his job as head coach of the Lions.
