The Detroit Lions have no shot at the playoffs this year – again.
Their 24-20 setback to the Chicago Bears this afternoon was their fifth straight defeat – this time, in front of a national television audience on Thanksgiving.
And as always, there was plenty of fan and media reaction to go around.

I'm working but just came on to see if Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn have been fired yet. Not yet, too bad!

What is with the Detroit Lions?
When an animal tastes blood they want blood.
When the Detroit Lions taste a Loss, it seems all they can do is lose after that.#DetroitLions #detroit #NFL

You have to admire these American traditions on #Thanksgiving:
• A huge slap-up dinner and dessert
• Gifts
• Food fights on wrestling shows
• The Chicago Bears whooping the Detroit Lions#Bears100— Luscious Jonny B (5-12) (@jonnybgoode82) November 28, 2019
We need to get rid of Matt Patricia
