For the first time since 1917, the yearly edition of “The Game” will not be taking place.
The Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes will not be facing one another this year thanks to ongoing COVID-19 case increases within the Wolverines program.
The decision was announced earlier today after thorough consultations with medical experts, health department officials and the university administration.
And of course, one of the unfortunate aspects of the news is that fans of both schools lost out on another chance to throw some major shade at one another over the results of the now-cancelled contest. However, that doesn’t mean that they weren’t still slinging mud at one another on social media.
We saved y’all an L, you should go on and count your blessings

Extremely weak on the part of UM. If only they could fall back on covid every year. Guess they'll have to tout all those pre 1950 national titles as a rebuttal.
