See, this is what happens when you mix a 60 degree, sunny day in April, with a couple of fans who (probably) have been sipping on a little too much of Grandpa's old cough medicine.
On Saturday, during a matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox, a couple of fans got enough courage (stupidity), on separate occasions, to rush the field at Comerica Park.
Here is some footage of the first moron to take his shot at glory. He gets in a good run, including what looks to be his best impression of Barry Sanders before running out of gas and getting taken down by security.

Round 2
The second ass clown looking for his ten seconds of fame also gave it a good run, but eventually, his time too came to an abrupt end. Watch as Tigers second baseman Ian Kinsler is tempted to put and end to things on his own but makes the right choice.

Moral of the Story
Ok, obviously this is not meant for very many people out there, but it has to be said. If you have ever had even the slightest thought about running onto a field during a sporting event, you should probably have your head examined. By making the idiotic decision to rush the field (or court), especially in this day in age, you are not only putting the participants on the field in danger, but you are also taking the risk of getting seriously injured by whoever is lucky enough to take you down.
Now, it is pretty apparent by the videos above that these clowns were not looking to hurt anyone, but security at these events are trained to take things seriously. So, if you are ever at a sporting event and have a bit too much to drink, or if your “friends” dare you to do it, make the right choice. Order another hot dog or some nachos and enjoy the rest of the game.
