RB Ameer Abdullah
Average Draft Position: 90.0 (83.8 in PPR)
Projected Round: 6-9
Lions halfback Ameer Abdullah showed flashes of potential during his rookie season that included a 24-yard touchdown run on his first career carry, but a poor offensive line and issues fumbling limited Abdullah’s fantasy impact in 2015.
The former Nebraska back rushed for 597 yards and two touchdowns and totaled 183 yards receiving on 25 receptions. Detroit spent the off-season trying to improve its offensive line by drafting Ohio State tackle Taylor Decker with their 1st round pick as well as signing former Giants guard Geoff Schwartz in free agency. If the Lions can at least be middle of the pack in rushing (last in the league in 2015), then Abdullah could be a valuable pick-up for your fantasy backfield.
