[tps_title]3rd Quarter[/tps_title]

After a rough start to the season, the Lions have scrapped and clawed their way back to .500 as they move into the third quarter of the season. This portion of the season will determine if the Lions are still in the hunt for an NFC North crown or if they have a better shot at another top 10 draft pick. It all starts off in Chicago against the Bears.
Week 10 – @Chicago Bears
The Bears defense is gold and the Bears offense is garbage. In 2018, Chicago rode their defense to an NFC North title but that will not happen in 2019. Though I believe this is an EXTREMELY winnable game for the Lions, it will be tough sledding in the Windy City on this day.

Week 11 – vs. Dallas Cowboys
In my opinion, the Dallas Cowboys are right up there with the Philadelphia Eagles as favorites to win the NFC East. Not only does Dallas have a solid defense but they also have a running game which is not easy to stop. That being said, the Lions’ strength is stopping the run and they will hold Ezekiel Elliott to under 100 yards rushing in this one. Lions get back to .500 at 5-5 on the season.

Week 12 – @Washington Redskins
Playing in Washington is never easy for the Lions and despite the Redskins being one of the worst teams in the league, this game will be a battle. Look for the Lions to pull away late to move above the .500 mark for the first time since their Week 1 win over the Cardinals.

Week 13 – vs. Chicago Bears (Thanksgiving Day)
The Bears on Thanksgiving Day! What could be better? I will tell you exactly what will be better, a WIN! The Lions will be fired up to get revenge for their loss earlier in the season and they will do just that in impressive fashion to move to 7-5.
