On Sunday, the Detroit Lions embarrassing season continued as they lost 19-16 to the previously 1-9 Washington Redskins.
The loss was the Lions fourth in a row and seventh in their past eight games after starting off 2-0-1.

With the losses piling up, there is speculation that the Lions could move on from Matt Patricia and possibly even GM Bob Quinn prior to the 2020 season.
But what if the Lions lose to the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving Day? If that happens, would the team consider moving on from Patricia before the season ends?
If the Lions do fire Patricia following a loss to the Bears, it would not be the first time they have fired a head coach just after Thanksgiving Day.

In 2005, the Lions fired Steve Mariucci just a couple of days after Thanksgiving.
During his 3 seasons with the Lions, Mariucci posted a record of 15-28 (.349). Patricia is currently 9-17-1 in his two seasons as Lions head coach.
Nation, if the Lions lose on Thanksgiving Day, will Patricia be fired?
