Want to add even more explosiveness to already high-octane Lions offense? How about putting Golden Tate in the slot and installing one Michael Crabtree on the outside opposite Calvin Johnson? Crabtree has had his share of injury concerns, but when healthy he can be as productive as they come at wideout. Yes, its a risk that could cost the Lions more than they put into it but the great teams take such risks, whether on a Crabtree, B.J. Raji, Jake Long or Tramon Willaims.

I believe the Lions should choose one of these risks… and take it.

They’re gambling for a Super Bowl appearance.
