The 2011-12 NBA season kicked off on Christmas Day thanks to a lockout – and current Detroit Pistons guard Derrick Rose stole the show for the Chicago Bulls.
His hanging floater over Pau Gasol with 4.8 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winning shot, giving the Bulls the victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Rose, who had just signed a five-year, $94 million contract extension days earlier, scored 22 points.
