Flashback: Sidney Crosby gets a face-full of Jimmy Howard’s glove

He’s the villain that Red Wings fans love to hate!

With the bitter feelings of the previous year’s Stanley Cup Finals Game 7 loss still fresh in their minds, fans were treated to the sight of Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby getting a whole lotta glove from goaltender Jimmy Howard during a March 22, 2010 matchup!

As the seconds ticked down towards the final horn of a 3-1 Red Wings win, Crosby began slashing at Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg, who quickly responded to the Penguins captain’s agitations; Todd Bertuzzi also engaged in the scuffle, and soon Howard introduced his glove to Crosby’s face:

That will never get old!
