Prior to the start of the 2019 NFL season, not many believed the Detroit Lions would have a winning record after their first four games of the season. After all, three of those games were against playoff teams from a year ago and the other was a trip to the desert, there they generally do not play well.
But up to this point, the Lions have proven many people wrong as they sit at 2-1-1 with a Monday Night Football matchup against the Green Bay Packers up next.

According to Football Outsiders, the Lions chances of making the NFL Playoffs actually dropped 5.3% down to 34.2% following Sunday's Week 6 games.
As you can see, the Lions have a 20.3% chance of winning the NFC North, an 8.2% chance of earning a first-round bye, and a 2.2% chance of getting the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Despite having a solid record through four games, the Lions have their work cut out for them as they are in the toughest division in the NFL. That being said, a road win over the Packers on MNF would certainly help their chances in a big way.
