Every since Jim Harbaugh left the NFL to become the head coach at the University of Michigan, he has been in the spotlight. Many think Harbaugh is the perfect fit for Michigan and that it is just a matter of time before the Wolverines win big, while others are certain he will eventually wear out his welcome and return to the NFL.

Now, one of Harbaugh’s former running backs is speaking up about his feelings towards his former coach.

On Thursday, Brandon Jacobs joined Tiki Barber on his radio show and unleashed on Harbaugh, saying the former 49ers head coach “didn’t know what he was doing.”

Jacobs only played one year under Harbaugh (2012) as his 49ers team went 11-4-1 before eventually losing to the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl.

It’s interesting to note that Jacobs was suspended by Harbaugh and the 49ers for the final three games of the season after he took to social media to complain about his lack of playing time. Harbaugh has a pretty good idea what he is doing, both at the college (78-33 record) and the professional level (44-19 record).

It sure sounds like Jacobs is a little butt-hurt on this one. Maybe it’s because he only had five attempts for seven yards in two games with the 49ers in 2012.
