If you have been following along with all of the Phil Mickelson news coming out of the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit this week, you have likely heard that former 97.1 the Ticket personality Mike Sullivan has been leading the charge to get Mickelson to return to the tournament in 2022.
In fact, Sully even started a petition with the hopes of getting 50,000 signatures to convince Mickelson to change his mind and return to the tournament next year.
The news of Sully starting the petition got to Mickelson and he said he would return to Detroit in 2022 on one condition.
On Saturday, Sully was at the Rocket Mortgage Classic with the hope of meeting Mickelson and he got his opportunity.
Check it out.
