Though Matthew Stafford is a warrior on the field for the Detroit Lions, he has drawn criticism from some for his leadership abilities.
One person who seems to think Stafford lacks in the leadership category is former Lions S Glover Quin.

Quin recently joined the Surf and Turf Podcast and shared his thoughts about Stafford, noting that though he is talented, he could be more outspoken.

“If you’re talking just arm talent, he’s probably the most talented guy that I’ve seen throw the ball,” Quin said.
“I just kind of wanted him to demand more, realize his power within the organization,” Quin added. “You’re Stafford, they’re going to ride with you. If things aren’t going right, don’t be afraid to say something, the guys will respect you.”
