Former Detroit Lion Herman Moore Says He Belongs In Hall Of Fame, ‘No Doubt’

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Herman Moore has got that confidence!

And who could blame him with a career stat line of 9,174 receiving yards and 62 TDs on 670 catches in just 122 career starts? Some might say that’s even Hall of Fame Worthy.

Moore himself recently told TMZ Sports that he absolutely belongs to be enshrined in Canton:

“No doubt,” he exclaimed, “I wouldn’t hesitate!”

“You take my seven years as a starter and I’ll put them up against anyone in the NFL,” Moore continued, “and, you won’t be able to put me under two or three during that time period.”

However, Moore won’t spend too much time thinking about it. If it happens, it happens.

“At the end of the day, I’m happy with what I did,” Moore says. “If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, then it is what it is. But, I’m going to keep trying.”

Moore was a member of the Lions from 1991 to 2001 before he spent the last year of his career with the New York Giants.
