Jim Caldwell, 64, is hoping to coach again after taking a leave of absence from running the offense of the Miami Dolphins earlier this season in order to tend to his health.
A well respected figure in the NFL, Caldwell is known to Lions fans for leading them to two playoff appearances, albeit losses. He was let go after the 2017 season in order for the team to hire Matt Patricia.
He began his coaching career with the Indianapolis Colts after taking over for the fired Tony Dungy. He later took over as OC of the Baltimore Ravens before landing in Detroit.
Where could Caldwell end up?
