Former Detroit Lions QB Josh McCown wins Twitter for response to Patrick Mahomes massive contract news

On Monday afternoon, news broke that Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs had come to an agreement on a 10-year contract extension (12 years total) with will reportedly make him the highest-paid player in NFL history.

Following the news, former Detroit Lions QB Josh McCown won the Twitter title for the day by tweeting out the following.

“Is this better than a 1 year deal with 10 teams?”

What is crazy is that McCown actually signed 16 different contracts (according to Over The Cap)with 11 different teams during his career.

Well played, Josh!
