According to reports, former Detroit Lions RB Ty Johnson has been claimed off of waivers by the New York Jets.
Johnson was released by the Lions on Thursday.
Johnson played all 16 games in 2019 and carried the ball 63 times for 273 yards and caught 24 passes for 109 yards last season.

Johnson joins the Jets a day after they lost a wild 37-28 game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. They are 0-4 on the season.
