Former Detroit Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy bashes Mike Ditka over anthem comments

I really wanted to avoid sharing former Chicago Bears head coach Mike Ditka‘s comments on people who do not respect the national anthem because of the Facebook comments that would follow, but now that we have an opposing view, I decided to roll with it.

Following Ditka’s comment “If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of our country,” former Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy fired back at the Hall of Famer with an opinion of his own.

“Ditka (and many others) say “if you can’t respect our national anthem, get the hell out of the country.” What should we do with those who don’t respect the Constitution which says we have the rights of free speech and freedom of assembly?” SVG tweeted.

Nation, are you on Team Ditka or Team SVG regarding this situation?

What do you think?
