Joe Dumars is headed to the NBA front office as executive vice president and head of basketball operations after having been serving the past three seasons with the Sacramento Kings as chief strategy officer.

Dumars enjoyed a Hall of Fame NBA career before transitioning to the Pistons front office after his playing days ended.
