For those of you who participate on Twitter, you have likely come across the work of former Detroit Tigers DH Aubrey Huff.
Huff is known for tweeting out moronic messages that would get most of us fired from our job.
Well, Twitter finally caught wind of Huff’s tweets and his account has been suspended.
Merry Christmas, Nation!

Freedom of speech, our Nations first amendment right, is precisely designed to protect controversial, moronic, uncomfortable, ignorant and disagreeable speech. It wasn’t ever meant to protect words or ideas that are easily agreeable to people like you.
What I find astounding is that you, a media organization, cheers the censorship of speech. If you say something stupid on your phone, should your service be cancelled? I realize the protections these social media sites enjoy, unlike utilities, allow censorship. But be consistent in your enthusiasm for cancelling those you say are moronic.
Nicely put Jeff, these mutts have no idea what they are supporting, but what fo we know, we are not “journalists”!
Stay vigilant!
Huff is still permitted to spew his ignorant BS., that hasn’t changed and is the basis for the first amendment. Twitter as a corporation is free to suspend whoever they want for any reason they see fit.
He is still allowed to say those very same things. Twitter as a company can suspend whomever they want. You don’t understand how freedom of speech works….
