Prior to going to bed on Wednesday night, I had the idea of writing up a piece about the Detroit Tigers bringing back RHP Rick Porcello on a 1-year deal. The rationale for the move would be that hopefully, Porcello had a bounceback season, which would give him some value at the trade deadline.
Well, according to reports, Porcello will not be returning to the Motor City as he has reached a 1-year agreement with the New York Mets.

We with Porcello the best of luck in the Big Apple!
