You can excuse former Detroit Lions guard T.J. Lang for having some split loyalties on Monday night. After all, he spent the first portion of his career with the Green Bay Packers before signing with his hometown team in 2017.

But he, like everyone else, saw the poor calls that resulted in points for the Packers and more frustration for the Lions.
He did have a few positive things to say about his former team, but he absolutely let his frustration be known with the poor officiating.
Offensive Linemen are at a huge disadvantage when it comes to blocking, but that hands to the face was a game changer and also puke worthy.

In my 11 years involved with the NFL, I’ve never seen worse officiating than this year and it’s not even close.

Good game between 2 good teams. Players will be fined for mistakes. Refs will continue business as usual. 🤷🏼♂️

We miss having you, T.J.! Best of luck in retirement!
