Former Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown lands new job

UPDATE:

According to reports, Don Brown is expected to be named as the next defensive coordinator at Arizona.

Inside The Article

PREVIOUS RUMOR:

Much to the celebration of many fans (not me) Don Brown was recently fired as defensive coordinator at the University of Michigan.

Now, according to a rumor floating around, Brown could be on the verge of landing on his feet…in the desert.

The rumor comes from John Brice of Football Scoop and it claims that Brown could end up joining Jedd Fisch at the University of Arizona as their new defensive coordinator. Fisch was recently hired as the Wildcats' new head coach.

From Football Scoop:

New Arizona coach Jedd Fisch told people during the hiring process that he believed he could assemble a first-rate staff for the Wildcats.

Consider this potential move a big one.

Fisch has been working on adding well-regarded defensive coordinator Don Brown as a centerpiece hire of Fisch’s new staff in the desert.

Nation, do you think Arizona would be a good fit for Don Brown?
