What was once a dream is now a reality as former Michigan State offensive tackle Jack Conklin has been selected by the Tennessee Titans with the 8th overall pick in the 1st Round of the 2016 NFL Draft. In order to grab Conklin, the Titans has to make a trade with the Cleveland Browns who previously was slotted in the No. 8 position.
Conklin, who is a native of Plainwell, MI, started out his career at MSU as a walk-on and ended up developing into one of the top offensive tackles in the nation. While with the Spartans, he started 38 out of his 39 career games, 35 of those at left tackle. In 2015, Conklin was named a First-Team All-American by both the Sporting News and USA Today.
