Simpson has signed with Science City Jena, a pro club based in Jena, Germany, located 160 miles southwest of the capitol city of Berlin.

Per agent his agent Brian Jungreis, Simpson is already preparing for the upcoming season overseas.

“Germany is a great league, especially for a rookie in transition coming from the states, for on the court and off the court,” Brian Jungreis said.

“We felt this team wanted Zavier a great deal and it was a good fit for what he would be able to provide for them and what they needed,” Jungreis said. “They are a top team in their division who with his help can make a great run at advancing up to BBL division after this season.”

Unfortunately for Simpson and the Wolverines, he wasn’t able to work for more wins in Ann Arbor thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the cancellation of the season in March.
